Citizens travelling near border areas should carry identification at all times and follow instructions issued by local authorities.
Seasonal health requirements
A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry to Sudan from several countries. Check with the mission before travel.
Currency declaration
Amounts above USD 10,000 must be declared to customs on arrival and departure.
Entry requirements for Sudan
- Passport valid for at least six months beyond arrival.
- Entry visa obtained in advance from a Sudanese mission.
- Yellow fever certificate where applicable.
- Proof of accommodation or an invitation letter.
