• 2013–2015 — Director-General of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• 2012–2013 — Undersecretary of the Ministry of International Cooperation (on secondment).
• Education: LLB, University of Khartoum (1979); Higher Diploma in Diplomatic Studies, Egyptian Diplomatic Institute, Cairo (1983).
